I’m delighted to be able to open and see you for treatments in person again. Rest assured a lot of hard work has been happening behind the scenes to keep you safe and relaxed.
Stringent hygiene and cleaning practices were already in place and we’re following & adapting to all the government guidelines as they change. Additionally we follow IFPA recommended practices for cleaning and practicing safe treatments. I have studied and passed a specific infection control qualification relating to Covid-19 with The Jennifer Young Training School. A Covid-19 risk assessment has been carried out and steps taken to reduce any potential risk.
Please read through the points below to keep us all safe and make your visit as un-interrupted and enjoyable as it always is.
You will be emailed a Covid-19 health questionnaire to complete the day before your appointment, please complete it online and email it back to me. I may call you the day before your treatment to discuss how you are and how I may be able to help.
You may be asked to have your temperature taken when you arrive for your appointment. If you have an increased temperature your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Please arrive wearing a mask (I have disposable masks available for a small cost if you forget your own). You need to wear a mask throughout the duration of your treatment.
Use the hand sanitiser on the external wall of the building before you enter. There will be no need to open the doors as they will either be open or I’ll open them for you. All handles are sanitised between clients/use.
The interval between appointments has been increased to allow for increased ventilation of the room and enhanced cleaning. The number of sessions available in a day has had to be reduced to accommodate this. You should not cross over with another client so please arrive at your scheduled time as I am unable to extend your session time.
Take a seat on the iron bench to the left of the steps as you enter the building (with the grey cushion which is sprayed with anti-viral spray between each client)
Please do not sit on the chairs to the right of the steps as they are for the use of Sante et beaute clients.
I will offer you a spray of my own sanitiser scented with essential oils. The essential oil blend is my own and the alcohol is from Downton Distillery of Explorer Gin fame!
Unfortunately I am not allowed to offer you the usual drink and biscuit, please bring your own water or allow time for a relaxing cuppa at Herbs and Wild in the courtyard after your session.
I am required under government guidelines to wear PPE (personal protective equipment), which for Aromatherapists currently are a facemask, visor and gloves for your massage (you really won’t notice the difference). I’ll also be wearing an apron, which is sanitised and changed between clients.
The preferred payment method is by bank transfer.
I fully support the UK Government Track and Trace system, as of Thursday 24th September 2020 it is mandatory that you either use the NHS Covid-19 app to sign into the venue (scan the poster in my door) or that I keep a record of your visit. If you develop any Covid-19 symptoms even after your session, please let me know.
